Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for supervising projects from start to finish and guaranteeing client satisfaction by providing exceptional service. Supports senior project management by providing comprehensive project management support for several projects.

Job Description

  • Provide initial client contact to assess the scope of work, schedule, and resources required to complete a project.
  • Monitor construction operations in collaboration with the onsite Foreman and Superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget.
  • Evaluates construction methods and determine the cost-effectiveness of plans and actual work. Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction sites.
  • Ensures that all project personnel follow all company and project owners’ safety and environmental policies.

Overview

Our Project Engineer collaborates on projects with their Project Manager and serves as a contact between the field and the office. In this position, the PE is responsible for establishing the project’s objectives through planning, executing, and finalizing projects on time and within budget.

Job Description

  • Assist with the administration of the bid turnover and project commencement process, blueprints/specifications, evaluate proposals/project requirements, and material procurement coordination.
  • Ensure schedule requirements are met. Readily adjust priorities and milestones based upon changing customer needs, resource availability, and job requirements.
  • In charge of material requisition, submittal compilation, purchase orders, on-site job walk-throughs, change orders, request for information, and close-out documents.
  • Utilize Bluebeam Studio and Microsoft SharePoint to maintain and manage online project document postings.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with vendors and clients.

Overview

The Estimator is in charge of creating and preparing bid documentation and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. The Estimator manages construction costs by gathering and analyzing data, assessing bid requirements and drawings, and ensuring they understand what is required to successfully bid and win the project.

Job Description

  • Prepare complete estimates for commercial electrical projects, including detailed take-off and data entry into computerized estimating software.
  • Prepare conceptual budgets and design build estimates, including lighting layout, power distribution, branch circuitry, and other systems.
  • Analyse and review drawings, specifications, and other bid documents.
  • Review estimates and work performed by Jr. Estimators.

About the Role

The Project Manager will provide oversight to maximize job profits while completing the contract scope to the highest standards. This position partners closely with the Forman and Superintendent to manage labor, materials, subcontractors, and job cost while maintaining a positive relationship with the customer.

What You’ll Do

Essential Job Functions

  • Lead an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Review the project bid and breakdown, manage project budget, conduct cost analysis, estimate expected cost for the project.

  • Manage the hours and costs of the Building Information Modeling (BIM) process.
  • Oversee submittals including a submittal log.
  • Release lights, gear, and other materials.
  • Oversee material tracking logs and provide updated shipping information to the job team.
  • Information management of contract documents including Requestion for Information (RFI), bulletin/delta plans, submittals, etc.
  • Manage the change order process including all pricing, change order breakdowns and maintaining a project change order log.
  • Manage the Request for Information (RFI) process including maintaining an RFI log.
  • Complete project close out per contract requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.

The Estimator is responsible for estimating work as scheduled by Senior and Lead Estimators for bid.
